Martha Craft

Martha Craft, a beloved and compassionate soul, passed away on September 29, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on April 8, 1943, in the state of Kentucky, Martha was known for her hard-working and kind-hearted nature. She was a generous and resilient woman who touched the lives of many with her unwavering compassion.

Martha shared a deep bond with her family and was married to her loving husband Windell Craft for 27 years until his passing in September of 1989. Following his death, Martha remained devoted to his memory and did not seek another partner. Her family was the center of her world, and she was always present for them with love and support. Matha lived life with the "salt of the earth" approach, she never turned anyone away and always had a good word and a willingness to help anyone in need.

Martha was preceded in death by her one brother Rudolph as well as her parents and was the cherished mother of three children: Stanley Windell Craft, who preceded her in death, a loss she bore with great difficulty; Deborah Lynn Patten; and Toni Lynn Melot. Her legacy lives on through her seven grandchildren: Danielle, Travis, Kenneth, and Brittany Patten, as well as Kristen, Amber, and Courtney Melot. She also leaves behind four great-grandsons: Oliver, Silas, Sawyer, and Rhett.

Martha's kind and loving spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her generosity and dedication to her family and friends will be remembered and cherished forever. She was a deeply loved woman and will truly be equally missed.
