Our loving mother, Mary ,99 years old, answered our Lords call early on Friday, December 31st . Born July 2nd, 1922, a native of Arizona, Mary lived a full life and enjoyed the outdoors, whether hiking with her husband, Carlos, or sitting near a pond watching ducks and listening to the wind in the trees and the chatter of birds. After her marriage, she traveled with her husband to Europe, where she had her first three children in Austria. For the rest of her life she was loved by all of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a vey loving and caring person. She was a member of the legion of Mary and prayed the rosary often. She always had kind words to say about everyone. Mary was loved so very much. How lucky were we to have such an angel on earth. She had a laugh that was infectious. She let you cry with her if you needed a moment and hold you like you were one of her own children. She always had a way of knowing how you were feeling and for this and many other reasons she will be sorely missed.
She is survived by her brother, John Drew; Children Anne, Patricia, Richard, Barbara and James; grandchildren Jonathan, Sara, David, Mark, Michael, Aaron, Danielle, Phillip, Katherine, Shaun , Amy Claire, Emily and Christopher and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Carlos , and her sons Charles, Thomas and Phillip.
A visitation will occur Friday, January 7, 2022 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM and rosary service starting at 11:30 AM at Sunland Memorial Park, Mortuary & Cremation Center, 15826 North Del Webb Blvd, Sun City, AZ 85351.
A funeral mass for Mary will be held Friday, January 7, 2022 from 1:00 PM at St Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church, 9728 Palmeras Dr, Sun City, AZ 85371.
