I believe I knew Mike years ago and stood up to his wedding to Donna.  I would love to know if I have the right person did he have a daughter Gina? Great guy. plysien@aol.com

It took a very long time for me to put my thoughts together to make sense of this.  Even now, 1 yr later I force myself to do it, but then Mike & I were good friends for 40 years - all thru the postal service & "GWEENWAY WOAD" as Mike pronounced Greenway Road.  Godfather to my 1st son. Every birthday, thanksgiving, christmas and many occasions (and non-occasions) at each other's homes.  Most people take the term "godfather" as a token gesture or a movie - Mike took it very seriously and I could not have made a better choice than asking Mike.

We moved away so long ago and yet still kept in touch. We talked & joked about anything & everything. I can still see the smiling smirk on his face & my eyes still well up at the thought of his passing -- far too soon. It hurts to think about it, so we try to remember all the good times & hope Linda does also. We do miss you Mike & after 40 years I have no idea of how to end this.  So, we'll say "So Long" as the tears are coming again.

Mike, if you can read this from heaven I want to say that I'm sorry that I couldn't be there at your part but please know that you'll always be in my heart. 
You and Linda and Jim and I had great times together. Remember the vacation we went on when your son was little and we seemed to always end up at Denny's for dinner, and the trip to Mexico when that mexican fellow called Linda---"Hey Lyndah" and how Linda had to listen to you for years to follow ----- "Hey Lyndah" in that Mexican accent,Or the trip to Hawaii while we were walking down the street and you passed gas and immediately turned around and said "oh--that must have been that "A HOLE" behind me" I never forgot it---I laughed so hard--you were so funny and always so happy and I know you were happy because of Linda. Linda loved you so much.
I will always miss you and I hope that when I get to heaven you will be there waiting to make me laugh again like you did so many times. Until we meet again Mike--- rest in peace.

Linda and family, I am so sorry to hear about Mike. He will be truly missed.  He had done the printing for so many years for the Muliphen and I know Ron really appreciated that. I know they are having a wonderful sail around Heaven.

Uncle Mike you will be missed greatly. I am thankful and fortunate to have known you. You were always such a nice person and brought a smile to everyone who you were around. Thank you for the memories and being able to visit with you and Auntie Linda in Arizona when I was growing up.  We always looked forward to having you come to Chicago as well. Thank you for all the happy times. I will miss you very much.

50 years ago Mike and I were shipmates.  Young, healthy men on the adventure of a lifetime. I can still see him in my instant replay, hanging over the side on a bosun's chair, paint brush in hand, and flashing a smile a fathom wide. Safe harbor my old friend!

Aunt Linda, I am so sad about Uncle Mike. He was a man full of life and lived it that way.  You were both very blessed to have shared your lives together. My family and I often think of the visits you made to Chicago and laugh and smile. Our Children will never forget what a great Sanata he was!  Thank you for all the fun memeories.  I hope you find Peace in this coming year.

I am so sorry for your loss.  It has been a very long time since I have spoke to you or Mike but I just felt compelled to leave a message. I have nothing but fond memories of you and Mike.  You were both very kind to me. I remember on Fridays I would have lunch with Mike at the shop and he would often put a smile on my face, he would always ask the question if my car was running alright?  I remember he would make sure everyone was taken care of. There was nothing selfish about Mike. He was a big kid with a smile.
I just wanted to say that I am very sorry for your loss.  I know that God will give you the strength and peace to carry on. I will pray for you and your family.
