Robert was Seaman in the U. S. Navy during WWII. He married Elaine (Fell) Schwartz on March 25, 1956 and they moved to Arizona in 1993.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Robert will be missed by his wife of 59 years, Elaine Schwartz; children, Susan (David) Harken and Lauri (Edward) Heinrich; grandchildren Alex Harken and Caitlyn Harken; and sister Nancy Bunt.
Burial with military honors will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 24, 2015, at Sunland Memorial Park, 15826 Del Webb Blvd in Sun City, Arizona. Arrangements handled by Sunland Mortuary in Sun City, Arizona.
