Born on October 13, 1946, to Tobias and Clara Fritzen. Roger graduated from Diller High School in 1965. After graduation, he answered the call to serve his country, joining the U.S. Air Force from 1965 to 1969. His service, which included a tour during the Vietnam War, was a source of lifelong pride, and he could often be seen wearing a hat or shirt honoring his time in the armed forces.
He found his greatest joy in his family. Roger is survived by his beloved wife of 34 years, Terri. He was a loving father to his sons, Jason Fritzen and his wife Lynelle, and Jeff Fritzen and his wife Kalynn. Roger's legacy lives on through his six grandchildren: Finley, Sutton, and Ledger, and Breeley, Blakely, and Briar. He will also be greatly missed by his brother, Marion and his wife Sherilyn, his cherished dog Oskar, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held in October.
