Scott Hamilton Walker

Scott Hamilton Walker, of Scottsdale, AZ passed away May 11, 2014. Scott touched the lives of his loving family as a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was born April 3, 1934 in Chicago, IL to the late Harland and Dorothy Walker. Scott received a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Wisconsin and worked for several companies in his career, his most recent being the Andrew Corporation. He loved listening to classical piano music as much as he enjoyed playing it at home, and his children have fond memories of him playing “waiting music” while they got ready to go out as a family. Scott also enjoyed movies, especially the Disney classics.

Scott is predeceased by his wife Nancy, son Richard and great-granddaughter Isabel. He is survived by his son David (Mila) Walker, daughter Janet Davis, grandchildren Nicole (Bryan) Bales, Erin (Francisco) Campos, Bradley (Caileen) Walker, Rachel (Chad) Christensen, Stephen Davis, Allison Walker and great-grandchildren Cory and Dylan with two other great-grandchildren on the way.

Visitation for Scott will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at 9:00 am, followed by a graveside service beginning at 10:00 am at Sunland Memorial Park Mortuary, 15826 Del Webb Blvd, Sun City, AZ.
