Stanley & Frances Bridges

Stanley Jack Bridges, 86, of Sun City West, passed away June 22, 2017. He was born in Cozad, Nebraska January 6, 1931. Stanley was a well-respected, caring physician of 40 years. He was an avid and talented golfer and also enjoyed auto racing and restoring cars.

Stanley is preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Frances Mae, 84, who passed away December 15, 2016. Frances was born in Le Grand, Iowa July 5, 1932. She was a devoted homemaker, wife and mother, talented watercolor painter and enjoyed bowling. Together Stan and Fran enjoyed traveling, gambling, playing cards and all their times spent with family and friends.

They are preceded in death by their beloved son, Robert Bridges. They are survived by their daughters, Wendy Jerkich (Craig Paul) and Jennifer Bridges; grandchildren, Craig Bridges Jerkich, Brigitte Tazalla (Mike) and Riley Bridges; and great-grandchildren, Madison and Mason Tazalla.

A memorial service to celebrate the lives of Stan and Fran who are now reunited is being planned. Details will follow on this memorial page. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be directed to the M.D. Anderson Cancer Centers.
