She was born in Warngau, Germany on July 15, 1925 to Albert Mouth and Johanna Mouth (Degenhart) and was the oldest of 3 siblings. Her life began and remained eventful until the end. She married Guenther Seick in Dresden, Germany in February, 1944 and had their only daughter, Christiane. The three of them immigrated to the United States in 1950. Upon arrival in the United States, they settled in Chicago, where Theresia eventually retired from GTE Sylvania in 1980.
She and Guenther moved to Sun City, Arizona in 1980 and there she began a very active 2nd half to her life. She was an active participant in the German American Club, German Choir, an avid bowler, bocce player, swimmer and general bon vivant.
Theresia loved to socialize and travel. She embarked on many trips to Europe, took cruises with family and friends and stayed close to her relatives and roots in Germany for her entire life, where she celebrated both her 80th and 90th birthdays. She found enjoyment in everyday things such as watering flowers, talking to friends on the phone, cooking, sipping brandy, walking and talking in the pool, playing Yahtzee with friends and family and playing the “occasional” slot machine at a casino. She had a special gift to make people laugh and look at the bright side of things.
She is survived by her daughter Christiane of Sun City, her grandson Scott of Nice, France, granddaughter Tara of Colorado and great-granddaughter Helena of Nice, France.
