Born in Chicago and flourished as a hostess and baker extraordinaire, an accomplished artist, sisterhood maven, mah jongg expert and sometimes choral singer in Skokie, Northbrook, Glenview, Buffalo Grove, Illinois, Sun City West, and Scottsdale, Arizona. For the last 10 years, she served as the “social director” of her senior living community, Andara. Beloved wife for 70 years of Sherwin (Dusty – z”l), devoted mother of Wayne (Wendy) and Donna Lynn Rhodes, and cherished Gramma Toni of Andrew and Emily Rhodes. A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at Makom Solel Lakeside, 1301 Clavey Road, Highland Park at 1:00 pm. Donations can be made to the Makom Solel Lakeside Music Fund.
