87, passed away peacefully at home on September 20, 2015. Vernon was born February 8, 1928 to Emil and Freda Wiemeyer at Elk Grove, CA. He attended school in Elk Grove and graduated from Berkley, CA college. His entire career was in sales and he retired from Standard Oil and Snap On Tools.
Vernon enjoyed traveling, tending to his gardens and flowers. Graeagle, CA was his home after he retired. He loved his family. Vernon is survived by his beloved wife Janice Elaine Leu and his children Lynn Klien Wong (Calvin), Tonja (T.J.) Rubin (Cliff), John Wiemeyer (Julie), Kathy Fee, Rex Townsend, Marcia R. Lamb, Darrell Livengood (Marlo), Angela K. Holly; extended family, nieces and nephews, grandchildren and many friends.
Visitation will be held from 11-11:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 26 at Sunland Mortuary-Lakeside Chapel, 15826 Del Webb Blvd., Sun City, AZ 85351. Funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m. at Sunland Mortuary.
