Bill married the love of his life, Margaret, in 1961. They honeymooned in California and loved Los Angeles so much that Bill started job hunting on their honeymoon.
He quickly found a job with Southern Pacific Railway and worked there until 1970. After obtaining a degree in Business Administration, he purchased a Baskin-Robbins franchise in 1974 and later acquired a second store, as well as a Morrow’s Nut House franchise.
In the mid 1980s Bill fulfilled one of his dreams by becoming an actor and appeared in several movies and commercials.
After retiring, he and his wife moved to Sun City West, Arizona. He enjoyed several hobbies including model railroading and buying, collecting and repairing old wall clocks.
Bill is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Margaret, his brother George Chandler, Jr., and several nieces and nephews.
