I will miss this wonderful man. I'll miss him a lot. I will always remember our photo trips together and the times we shared. Bill was one of the best.

Bill was/is/always will be a giant of a man in every way.  Only one other man I have said that about. Won't forget how he said, "Gorgeous," when you ask how he is, and how at leave-taking he said, "Keep breathing." Always thought I'd see him again, have so much still to talk about with him, think I'll keep doing it. Kind, generous, wise, fun, and yes! gorgeous - that's Bill.    Lorrie Nelson

Dear Harriet,  I have know Bill for quite a few years. We judged pictures many times together.  He was such a special person to have had the ;pleasure of knowing.  He sure will be missed by the Photo community as well as his family.

I never met your father but I do remember how much your family meant to you in all the years I have known you, (since before your kids birth) You were proud of your parents.  May God give you peace and spread your love and his love of God's creations by capturing them with his camera.

Bill was always a kind gentleman with a sense of humor and thinking about others.  We're sorry about his passing, but believe he is in a better place now for his condition.

Bill gave me one of the greatest gifts in life. His family. I am so proud and happy that Bill was my father-in-law and was able to be part of his life. Kevin and I spent precious moments with him in his final days and it brought us much joy and peace.

I was very saddened to hear about the loss of Bill.  He was such a kind-hearted man.  My condolences to the Dart family.

We moved to Sun City 14 years ago to be near you and Harriet.  Since then we traveled together to Monument Valley, Antelope Valley, and many other places so you could take breathtaking pictures. We have many of them on our walls.  We, fondly, remember our camping trips together when the kids were small.  They really liked your hobo pies and still remember you losing your Tyrolean hat flying into the Grand Canyon.  Mostly we remember meals with you and Harriet followed by cards.  The future can never be the same without you.

I consider myself fortunate to have served Bill and his daughter the past couple months, and getting to know you better.

My father was the most important person in my life.  I ache for his touché I miss his words. I miss everything, he never told me he was hurting.  I feel guilty for not knowing it.  I loved him more than life.  Kathy

Harriet, I am Jodi(Anthony)Slater, Bettie & Cliff Anthony's daughter from Des Moines.  I remember the MANY nights of playing cards, Pizza & Beer.  I also have several photographs Bill took of my Mom and of me, gazing out or front window on SW 17th Street. My folks always remembered you fondly and would have LOVED to get together again with you and Bill, had they known you lived in AZ as well.  They lived in Scottsdale since 1976 and retired to Payson.  Mom & Dad are both gone now. I miss them EVERY day! Don't worry about Bill, I know there's cards, Pizza & Beer or it wouldn't be Heaven!

Did you know Bill Dart had a ministry?  I learned about it on 12-22-10 when I asked to buy one of his prints.  When he delivered it, there was a sticker on the back of the mat board which read "Accepting this original photograph makes you a member of my ministry.  Through the years many have done nice things for me, most often the kindness went unpaid until now.  Enjoy this image that I saw with my camera.  Remember hugs are always in order.  Bill Dart."  Bill will be missed greatly by all his friends in the Camera Guild of Sun City.  He made many great contributions of his time, knowledge, and - most of all - himself.  Thanks to his family for sharing him with us.

My Uncle Bill was so kind to my Mother Pat Moore, myself and my family. He gave me tips on photographing the lighthouses of Michigan. We really enjoyed visiting them at their lake house in Cheboygen. He called us "fudgies" because mom and I would bring fudge home. He had a great sense of humor, and a kind heart. Rest in Peace Uncle Bill.

Uncle Bill taught me so much about photography! I will miss our visits and hearing about his adventures captured in photos. I will follow his advice...stop and take the photo and travel whenever you can!

Bills death has left a large empty space in the lives of those who knew him. As we haved moved through life there are only a few people we feel greatful to have met  and Billi is one of those. Bill was a truly kind and generous man and will not soon be forgotten.

I always enjoyed  seeing Bill. He was a wise and  generous man.  Every time we met he taught me something.

Bill, you will be missed and always remembered.

Bill was one of the Best Friends I have had in my life. And he will be missed by his family and his friends.

Bill was a very special gentleman. Known as "Gorgeous" and he truly fit that description.  A one of a kind man and a true friend. We will miss him.
