Ashley was born in Phoenix, Arizona on August 14, 1983 to Daniel and Deborah Baker. She was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and friend whose presence brought joy and laughter to anyone who knew her. She had a great sense of humor and a deep love of fashion that often made her run late to family events.
Ashley leaves behind her greatest accomplishment and the loves of her life, her children Brett and Scarlett Decker. She is also survived by her devoted mother, Deborah Baker; her sisters, Coleene Piotrowski (Rob), Lindsey Kingsley (Kevin), and Courtney Baker; her nieces, Sophia Piotrowski and Brooklyn Kingsley; her nephew, Kolton Kingsley; and a large extended family, including countless friends who adored her. She was preceded in passing by her father, Daniel Baker, whose footsteps she proudly followed into learning and working in insurance for a period of time.
If you knew Ashley, you knew laughter, the kind that came from deep in your belly and left your cheeks sore from smiling. Her quick wit and playful teasing weren’t just part of who she was; they were how she connected, how she showed love. Being around her felt like being in on a secret joke, one that made you feel special. Ashley didn’t just bring warmth, fun, and love into moments, she was the moment. She had a way of turning even the dullest events into something unforgettable, filling them with fun and laughter. And her smile… it wasn’t just bright, it was contagious.
A private service will be held for family and close friends to celebrate Ashley’s life and the memories she leaves behind.
Ashley’s story is one of love, laughter, and family. Though her time was far too short, her legacy shines brightly through her children, Brett and Scarlett, who carry forward the very best of her.
