Donna Marie Bartholomew

Donna Marie Bartholomew, 74, passed away on April 7, 2026 in Sun City West, Arizona. She was born on November 13, 1951, in Allentown, Pennsylvania, to parents John and Hilda Wasnak. Donna was beloved, hard-working, cherished, and gentle, and she will be remembered with deep respect and enduring affection by all who knew her. She was a resident of Surprise, Arizona.

Organized and strategic by nature, Donna found her career as an administrative secretary for EASD high school. Through her steady dedication and thoughtful approach, she became someone others could rely on, bringing care and professionalism to the work she did each day.

Donna was married for 53 years to the love of her life, Edwin Bartholomew, after meeting at a dance club. Together, they were an inseparable pair who spent much time dancing, watching Ed play baseball as she was his biggest fan, and traveling side by side—sharing a life built on devotion, companionship, and joy in the everyday.

In her personal time, Donna most loved reading. She was a part of a book club and was always a pleasure to work with in her community, offering kindness and a steady presence that made a lasting difference to those around her.

Her memory lingers on forevermore in the hearts of all that had the privilege to truly know her.

A memorial to honor Donna is to be announced by the family in the future.
