Jack Owen Young

Jack was born to loving parents Joseph and Maggie Young in Lyons, Kansas on January 7, 1938. After moving to Washington State, Jack married the love of his life Lorraine on November 27, 1965. Jack lived an active life. He played on a men’s softball league, and golfed with friends. Jack also enjoyed fishing and hunting with his son Darren. Outside of his physical activities and sports, Jack enjoyed traveling and taking trips with his family. Among his favorite trips was the trip to the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary, Canada with his wife, Lorraine. Jack, Lorraine and a group of close friends also enjoyed touring Italy in 2005. And of course the family trips to Maui, Hawaii with his son, Darren and his family.

Jack is predeceased by his parents Joseph and Maggie Young, and brothers Ogden Young and Everett Young.

Jack is Survived by his devoted wife, Lorraine Young; Son, Darren (Kimberly) Young; Granddaughter, Paige; Siblings, Dell Young, Lucy (Chuck) Williams and Mary Barker

Jack’s memory will forever live in the hearts of those who loved him and will be forever missed.
