

James Neath passed away Saturday morning, April 4th, 2020 in Surprise, AZ after a long battle with prostate cancer. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Katherine (Nix) Neath their two children, Michael Neath and Valerie Neath. He is also survived by his oldest daughter, Jaime Zittman (Paul) and two granddaughters Elysa Zittman and Morgan Zittman.
James was born April 27, 1946, in Riverdale, IL His parents were Ruth (Krause) Neath and Robert Neath. After Robert's death, Ruth married Clarence Neath.
James was a left-handed pitcher for the Baltimore Orioles minor league team. He was called up to the pros where he injured his pitching arm.
James worked as a beer truck driver and helper for Miller High Life and Budwiser. He also worked at Bob Watson Chevrolet in Harvey, Il and Lakeshore car dealership in Burns Harbor, IN.
James and his wife Kathy moved to Surprise, AZ in 2016. Jim loved to spend time with his family and adored his Chiweenie dog, Trixie. Jim was a big sports fan and loved the Chicago White Sox and Greenbay Packers.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Robert (Jan) Neath and Dennis (Joan) Neath, and many other beloved aunts, uncles and cousins. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.
