Jeffrey Benek, 53 Beloved Husband, Father, Papa, Son, Brother and friend.
It is with deep sorrow and love that we announce the passing of Jeffrey Benek, who left us far too soon at the age of 53 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Jeff was a proud Navy veteran who served his country with honor and dedication. After completing his military service, he transitioned into a career in healthcare, continuing his life of service by caring for others with the same strength and compassion he showed his family.
Jeff is survived by his devoted wife Kristine; his children Krysten, Tim (Jillian), Sean (Keoni); and his cherished granddaughters Brooklyn, Makenzie and Brynna. He was a deeply loved husband, a proud father, and an adoring "Papa" whose face lit up around his grandgirls.
Those who knew Jeff will remember his infectious personality-he could light up a room with a single smile and always found a way to make people laugh, even in the darkest of times. His warmth, humor and generous heart touched the lives of everyone he met.
Jeff's legacy lives on in the countless memories he created with those he loved. He taught us the value of loyalty, the importance of laughter, and what it means to live with purpose.
He will be missed more than words can express, but his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends.
The burial will be a private event for family and his closest friends.
A committal service will be held at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, located at 2929 E Pinnacle Peak Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85024, United States. The service is scheduled for August 8, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 2:30 pm.
A celebration of Jeff's life will be held at Surprise Christian Church located at 16630 W. Greenway Rd. Suite 312 Surprise, AZ 85388 on Saturday August 9th from 10am to 2pm. A light lunch will be provided.
