John Rogers

Surprise Arizona - John Rogers, 69, passed away on April 26, 2023, after a courageous and long battle against multiple medical challenges and setbacks. John was born in 1954, the fourth child of Ellen (Burns) Rogers and Charles Rogers. John was educated in Portland Maine schools and graduated Cheverus High School in 1972 where he won several awards and recognitions, then Southern Maine Vocational Technical College in 1976.

John enjoyed summers at Pine Point Beach with his family. He had a great sense of humor, and was very supportive of the Salvation Army. Shortly after graduating from SMVTI, John moved to California to become a professional plumber, eventually opening his own Plumbing business, MJM Plumbing, with Co-owner Moe Jensen. John loved golfing and travel to Mexico where he enjoyed deep sea fishing with his close friends. John met life long friends Jerry and Irene Murphy while living in California, who he remained close to, and were extremely supportive of John until his passing.

John is survived by his brothers Charles (Chuck) Rogers and wife Denise Rogers, Paul Rogers and wife Maureen Parkin, Thomas Rogers, William (Bill) Rogers and wife Patty Lebel, Dave Rogers and wife Laura Rogers, Mark Rogers, and Timothy Rogers. John is also survived by his nephew Luke Rogers and nieces Alicia Rogers Golden, Vanessa Rogers, Kaitlyn Rogers, Lilly Rogers, and Emma Rogers. John is also survived by his grand nephew Reid Golden, and grand nieces Emerson Golden, Charlie Golden, and Vivian O'Connell. John is also survived by his aunt Ann Devine and many, many loving cousins and their families.

John's passing was preceded by his father Charles George Rogers, his mother Ellen Burns Rogers, and his sister Susan Ellen Rogers. John will be greatly missed by all.
