Crosstitching was a nightly hobby Marie enjoyed and she produced many beautiful pieces including Christmas stockings for each family member. Marie loved her grandchildren and prayed daily for each of them: Grace, Cade, Jackson, Maggie, Karl, and Elia. Each child has special memories of Grandma Marie but all looked forward to a nightly visit to Dairy Queen when visiting her house.
Marie’s heart began failing in 2013 and yet she was able to continue to travel and gathered her family together for a week in Sunriver, OR to celebrate their 50-year wedding anniversary.
