Mary Ruth Brumfield

Mary Ruth Neal Brumfield was born of the union of the late Walter Bennett Neal and Louise Shaw Neal in Covington, Tennessee. She confessed her love for Christ at a very early age and joined the Augustina Lutheran Church. Mary attended the Milwaukee public school system until she graduated. Upon graduation she worked for various jobs until she landed her dream job as a Milwaukee County Transit Operator where she worked for 20 plus years. Then she moved to Arizona where she continued her driving career until she became a Route Supervisor. On May 15, 1993, Mary met and married Darren Ervin Brumfield Sr., and upon this union 3 additional children were born. She had a special love for her family that she leaves behind to cherish her memory. Her loving husband, Darren E. Brumfield Sr.; her mom, Louise and James Neal-Dyson; her father-in-law Howard Humphrey; her sons, Timothy Neal, Tremaine Neal, Terrance Neal, Bryant Neal, and Darren Brumfield, Jr.; as well as her two daughters Bianca Brumfield and Paris Brumfield; her sister Beverly Neal; and brother, Charles Neal; four aunts, Jean (Joe) Edwards of Covington, Tennessee, Lottie Shaw, and Beatrice Neal of Milwaukee and Charlotte Watson of Pensacola Florida; six uncles, Richard (Ann) Neal of Chicago Illinois, John Dancy, Thurman (Dorothy) Dancy, Robert Shaw, Eddie Dancy of Milwaukee Wisconsin, and Sonny Riley of Kansas City Missouri. Mary also leaves behind 25 plus grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was proceeded in death by her father, Walter B. Neal, her grandparents, Freddie and Willa Shaw, John and Ruth Dancy; her sister, Melissa Neal; niece Shalisa Neal; nephew, Darmavis Neal; and her mother-in-law Elnora Campbell.
