Phyllis D. McCormick, 77, of Surprise, Arizona and formerly of South Bend, IN passed away on March 6, 2014. She was born on June 30, 1936 in South Bend, IN to Clem and Hester Kugler. Phyllis is survived by her beloved husband, Stephen D. McCormick; one loving daughter, Branda Jill Johnson of South Bend, IN; four loving sons, Brent Retter of Columbia City, IN, Scot Retter of Columbia City, IN and Todd Retter of South Bend, IN; two loving step-daughters, Allison Kertes of Mishawaka, IN and Sara Banks of Osceola, IN, ten dear grandchildren and five dear great-grandchildren. The Memorial Service will be at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at Spirit of Grace Lutheran Church, 15820 W. Clearview Blvd., Surprise, AZ.
