Robert Edward Lindsay, age 79, of Surprise, Arizona, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2025 surrounded by his loved ones.
Bob was an amazing person that touched the lives and hearts of everyone he met with his infectious smile and positive attitude. A helping hand was always offered by Bob to anyone that needed it and he truly embodied bravery and courage while always being grateful, kind, adventurous and fun. He loved the outdoors, all critters great and small, hiking, traveling and all sports- especially softball and his Oregon Ducks. One of his greatest joys in life was cheering on his grandchildren competing in various sports over the years and his granddaughters in their college softball careers.
Bob is survived by his wife and high school sweetheart, Linda, of almost 57 years, his daughter Kimberly Moody and husband, Jonathan, his son Scott and wife, Amy, and his grandchildren Natalie Moody, Spencer Moody, Cole Moody, Hannah Lindsay and Allison Lindsay. He is preceded in death by his brother Jim. Bob is also survived by his brother Richard, sisters Rosemary Boe and Kathy Fritz and leaves behind many nieces, nephews and cousins who also loved him. Last but not least, his beloved Westie Ruby June.
Bob preferred not to have a memorial service but instead to have his remains spread by his family in some of his most cherished places. To say this man will be missed by all that had the good fortune to cross his path, is an understatement. He was a blessing to all. Fly high Bob, Dad, Pop Pop. Until we meet again....
