

Robyn Holdaway was born on June 1st, 1950, to Millen Atwood Moffat III and Helen Edling Moffat in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was the oldest of five children. She married Michael Holdaway December 19th, 1970, in the Los Angeles Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She is the mother of four children, thirteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and one on the way. They were her whole world. She had a great capacity to love and felt their joys and pains.
She lived in Chicago, Illinois in the projects while her father went to dental school after working as a chemical engineer. She was old enough to go to school and walked her sister Becky to kindergarten. Then they moved to Bountiful, Utah while her father started a dental practice. She then moved to Reseda, California, and finally settled in Hidden Hills, California. There she finished elementary school and attended Agoura High School as a charter member until graduation. She worked in her father’s dental office and one of the offices of Howard Hughes. She attended Brigham Young University for three years, but after the first year when returning home met Michael and had a whirlwind romance and was engaged after two weeks. It was at BYU our first child was born. She worked at the BYU bookstore as long as she could before she delivered. First living with her parents after they returned, then moving to North Hollywood, California, then to Canyon Country in California. Then they moved to Glendale, Arizona forty-six years ago, and eventually to Surprise, Arizona for sixteen of those years.
She was actively involved in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in the Relief Society, Young Women, and Primary in various teaching and leadership positions, and many other callings. She loved all those whom she worked with and for. She had a great respect for the priesthood and her leaders.
She is survived by her husband Michael Holdaway, Jennifer Foxx (daughter), Rick Foxx (son-in-law), Heather Stone (daughter), Rick Stone (son-in-law), Heidi Raygoza (daughter), Jose Raygoza (son-in-law), David Holdaway (son), Tatum Frampton Holdaway (daughter-in-law), Skyler Foxx (grandson), Elizabeth Foxx Moreno (granddaughter), Ryan Moreno (grandson-in-law), Alena Stone Wood (granddaughter), Michael Wood (grandson-in-law), Teya Stone (granddaughter), Vanessa Raygoza (granddaughter), Mia Stone (granddaughter) , Sariah Stone (granddaughter), Landen Stone (grandson), Lincoln Holdaway (grandson), Hudsen Stone (grandson), Dallin Holdaway (grandson), Elle Holdaway (granddaughter), Millen Holdaway (grandson), Emilia Wood (great-granddaughter), Briar Moreno (great-granddaughter). Her greatest joy was within the walls of her home and family. The center of her life has always been Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and family.
A visitation for Robyn will be held Saturday, August 3, 2024 at 10:00 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 15880 W Cactus Rd, Surprise, AZ 85379 and a funeral service will take place at 11:00 AM, followed by a committal service at 1:00 PM at Sunland Memorial Park, 15826 North Del Webb Blvd, Sun City, AZ 85351.
