Obituary

Ron Terry, 76, of Surprise, Arizona passed away peacefully with family at his side on

Saturday, October 22, 2016.

Ronald E. Terry was born in Rock Island, Illinois on October 11, 1940.

He was raised by his loving parents Lester and Marjory Meanor.

He married Karen J. Walker on November 16, 1985.

After Ron retired from the Rock Island Arsenal, he moved to

Arizona, where he enjoyed many years of golfing and playing cards with his beloved wife,

Karen, and their many dear friends who they considered family.

Ron also loved playing the guitar and being on a pool league.

Ron is preceded in death by his loving wife, Karen J. Terry and his former wife, Sharon K. Terry

and survived by his daughters Dawn Daniel (Bill), Gilbert, AZ, Sherrie Luke, St. Pete Beach, FL,

Nancy Poelvoorde (Dave), Boca Raton, FL; sons Ron Terry (Lisa), Mesa, AZ, Adam Terry (Trindal), Queen Creek, AZ;

grandchildren Adam, Ryan, Mathew, Xavier, Cyrus,

Ashley, Sarah, Dylan, Julia, Paige; 7 great grandchildren; siblings Sharyn, Linda, Starr, Lester,

Bobby and many cherished friends.

A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held on Sunday, November 20, 2016 at Surprise Funeral Care

16063 W. Bell Road, Surprise, Arizona 85374 at 4:00 P.M.

Cremation rites will be performed per Ron's wishes.
