Remeberance for our brother Russel. In life we always have to deal with sickness and death but we must also learn to create harmony by being inspired in mind, body and soul with what nature brings to us (like enjoying time with family, friends and in comforting others when in need. We must enjoy life by doing the things we love but also focus on filling our world with the light and love of God "which gives us the ability to create and mold the universe around us" - our loving choices provide the powerful force making our world a beautiful and pleasant place. Although loved ones won't be with us physically forever - spiritually the remembrance of happy memories helps to soothe the pain and knowing that we are all a part of an immortal universe where everything created by God will all eventually be joined together again in God's multi-dimensional Universe For All Eternity!!! I am grateful to have had the experience to know and love you grandpa. I have been thinking about our memories and I wish you didn’t have to go so soon. But it is unfair for me to wish you were still here, for that I know you are home and you are happy. You are my inspiration because you showed me what strength is, even though you were tired of cancer winning you continued to stay despite the pain for your family, you traded your tears and pain for my mom to have a dad , and one thing I owe to you is to look after and take care of her for you. 
 I try not to be sad because I can still talk to you all the time and i pray you watch over me to be there for all i accomplish in life. I promise to make you proud of who I become.

I couldn’t have had a better father in law. Russ was truly a good man with a kind heart. This is the guy I will always remember what a stud. He taught me how to install kitchens and countertops. I have endless stories of good times we shared on the job. He also taught me how to be a man when I had no father figure in my life. I never told him this but Russ you were like my dad and I miss you and love you.. He was the real Italian Stallion. I can’t wait to see you again just make sure you have the chessboard ready. Good bye my friend.

I was devastated when I heard the news, that someone that I grew up with a lifetime ago had passed. I loved playing in the street with you and the kids on our block, it’s memories that I will never forget. Your parents was so sweet I remember my parents always like them so much. My heartfelt prayers go out to your family, God bless and may you rest in peace. 

Dear Russ, 
I will remember you as a calm, quiet, observant man, a loving father and stepfather to your children, a supportive father-in-law to my son and a friend to me. You made me laugh often, you welcomed me into the fold of your family and I felt cared about by you. Although I met you in the waning years of your life and mine, I was strikingly impressed by your strength  and empathic toward your struggle.  I will truly miss you,  but I am blessed to have  a little takeaway piece of your persona to hold close to my heart. God bless you and keep you.

My grandpa was the strongest, funniest, most lovable grandpa I could’ve asked for. His personality, humor and smile were so infectious. He always cared so much more about those around him, even in his last days. I’ll never forget my drives to church with him on Sunday mornings and then getting lunch after. He always knew how to put a smile on my face and make me laugh. I miss him so much already..

I miss you so much daddy   It seems like yesterday you were coming home from work and I would see you come up the driveway and I would come running yelling daddy’s home while you kneeled down arms out waiting for my hugs  My heart is broken.
