In loving memory of our father, Russell Alfred Yost of Bellaire Ohio, who passed away on the 1st day of November 2023, in his home. He was the devoted husband of Karen G. Yost and loving father of Russell A. Yost Jr, Daniel C. Yost, Sabrina L. Yost-Shumway, and Melissa G. Yost, an amazing grandfather to Allyson, Benjamin, Daniel, Evan, Wesley, Wyatt, Donna-Karen, and Sebastian, and a caring great-grandfather to Emery, Eli, Eleanor, Emerson, Everett, Olive, Roman, and Mirina. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
One of the kindest souls on this planet, our father was a gentle, giving man who worked tirelessly to ensure that his family had everything they needed. He was always there for moral support. He faced every challenge in life with admirable strength and courage.
Early in life, our father learned the importance of hard work and he instilled that same work ethic in us. He was always there for us. He was a man of faith and he taught us the importance of family, hard work and doing what is right.
Our father was a true role model who we will always look up to. The funeral service will be held at Surprise Funeral Care located at 16063 W Bell Rd in Surprise, AZ 85379 on the 18th day of November 2023 at 2:00pm in the afternoon. Anything outside of flowers that is sent to this service, will be transported to the second service in CA which is tentative for the first week in December of 2023.
Father, we watched your strong battle with cancer, and applaud your fight, but you are now at peace and will live on forever in our hearts. We love you so much. Rest in peace.
