Stephen W Crank

Born on April 4, 1946 in St. Louis, MO, Steve was the beloved son of Henry and Maxine Crank.

Steve was a devoted husband to Elizabeth, whom he married in March 1968. Together, they shared 56 wonderful years of marriage. He was a loving father to Matthew and Philip (Rebecca) and a cherished grandfather to Bohdi and Everly.

Steve dedicated his professional life to carpentry, where he worked for the City of Ellisville (MO) for 18 years. He was known for his skill, attention to detail and hard work ethic. Prior to carpentry, Steve served his country in the Army from 1968-1971 earning the rank of Specialist 5. After being honorably discharged he served his community as a Police Officer for the City of Woodson Terrace, MO

Beyond his professional achievements, Steve was passionate about automobiles and motorcycles. He was also and avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals.

He is survived by his wife Betty, his two sons Matt and Philip and grandchildren Bohdi and Everly. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Henry and Maxine, his brother David Paul and sister Naomi Ruth.

A small service will be held on July 30, 2024 at 10:00 am at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, 2900 Sheridan Rd, St Louis, MO 63125.
