

Tom was born in Akron, OH on January 9, 1958. He graduated from Crestwood High School in Mantua, OH in 1976. Tom enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1977, where he served as a Security Forces specialist and electrician until his honorable discharge in 1982 as a Buck Sergeant.
Tom will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 35 years, Rose A. Riley; his four children, Michael (Alison) Selby, Cherie (John) Enders, Angie (AJ) Saylor, Chad (Bri) Riley; his 8 grandchildren Makayla, Katlyn, Christian, Robert, Madisen, Angel, Deshaun, and Clara; his great-grandson Aiden; his brother, Donald Riley (Barbara); his sisters, Ramona Rodhe and Cheryl Green; and numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and dear friends.
Tom was a devoted employee, installing alarm systems and various other security devices in Arizona and eventually for a national company that installs and maintains integrated high security systems. He enjoyed sports, reading, spending time with his family, and was a loyal Cleveland Browns fan through thick and thin. He was a dedicated and faithful husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle who will be missed greatly.
Tom is preceded in death by his parents, Myles Riley and Donna Russo; as well as his sister Debbie Miller.
A Celebration of Tom’s life will be held at 3:30 PM on December 6, 2019 at Surprise Funeral Care. The service will start promptly at 3:30, so please ensure you arrive before 3:30 PM. Tom was a proud fan of the Cleveland Browns, so please wear a jersey if you have one.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the American Heart Association/ American Stroke Association at PO Box 742030 Los Angeles, CA 90074-2030.
