Thomas Henry Tucker

Thomas Henry Tucker, 85, passed away Saturday, February 27, 2016 in Sun City West, AZ, following a brief stay in hospice care. He leaves his beloved wife of 58 years, Elaine (Gordon) Tucker; his loving children, David (Mary), Karen (Nick), Colleen (Dan), Joseph, Barbara (Steve), Kristy (Drew); grandchildren, Luke (Brooke), Sean, Steven, Michael (Audrey), Kristina (Evan), Tina Marie, Anthony, Dominic, Olivia, Henry; great grandchildren, Arianna, Vincent, Nolan, Samuel; and many dear relatives and friends. He was born and raised in Chicago, IL, the son of Bernard and Gertrude (Stuckemeyer) Tucker, and brother of Richard (Leone), and Walter (Joan). He was a Korean War Veteran, and became a career screw machinist following in his fathers' footsteps. He raised his family in Elmwood Park, IL, and was a devoted member of St. Vincent Ferrer Parish. We will miss his story telling, laughter, and compassion. His love will shine down on us until we meet again. Memorial Mass April 2nd, at St. Vincent Ferrer Church, 1530 Jackson Ave, River Forest, IL 60305, 9:30a gather, 10a mass. Interred at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
