It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Andre Lymburner in White Rock, BC.
Andre known for his astute business sense, intelligence, and his quick-witted sense of humour, will be truly missed.
Andre‘s sharp sense of humour and one liner quips could put a smile on anyone’s face. With an affable and personable character, he left a positive impression on everyone he met.
Andre had retired from a long and successful career within the printing industry. He established Web Express and Horizon Press in Vancouver and built them to be trusted and respected businesses in the lower mainland. Technically astute and with endless curiosity, he often pioneered new technology in the printing industry. He was fascinated by how things worked, from cars to airplanes.
Yes for all of that, he shared a love for golf and travel with Margaret, his wife of 32 years. In the winter months they might be in Palm Springs, Hawaii, or other places with gentler winter golf-weather than Vancouver. You would be more likely to find him playing cards with friends than seeing him on a smartphone.
His memory will be carried on in the hearts of his loved ones. Survived by his wife Margaret, children Mechelle, Jason, Danielle and step-son Shea , 6 grandchildren, and siblings Don, Bob, Christine, Jack, Gail, Ken and Kim (their respective spouses), and sister-in-law Cindy as well as many extended family members and friends.
We would like to thank the paramedics, and all the caring, compassionate nurses and doctors at the Peace Arch hospital.
In lieu of flowers, if you choose, please make a donation to the Children’s Make a Wish Foundation.
A private celebration of his life will take place in the new year .
