It is with a very heavy heart that we announce the unexpected passing of Anthony Allin Moore. Anthony died much too young due to medical complications that are still unknown. Anthony, who was born in Vancouver, leaves a legacy of a very full life having experienced love, adventure, travel and education to the extent that countless much older can only wish for. Anthony had a heart of gold, a big infectious smile and flowing curly golden locks. He was charismatic and wore his heart on his sleeve. Anthony had many loves - his family foremost, his friends and the natural world. He excelled in sports, most recently in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and yoga. Earlier he was excelling in football, rugby, skateboarding, snowboarding, surfing and swimming. His interests were always very diverse, aided by his near photographic memory. He loved playing guitar, singing and appreciating true musical talent- especially in reggae, rock and rap. He challenged himself in chess, read widely, painted intricate figurines and cooked exquisitely. He enjoyed camping and his many family trips. Anthony always encouraged his family and friends to follow their chosen paths. He was a mentor to so many. Anthony had a deep desire to assist others, even if it meant foregoing of himself. Anthony is now able to join his grandparents in mind and spirit. He is survived by his parents Margaret (Don) and Steven (Ann), sister Michelle (Yousef) and brother Matthew. He has a large extended family and a huge, diverse network of friends. Anthony loved them all and in return they had an unwavering love of him.
