Audrey Leone Flint, age 96, of Surrey, British Columbia passed away on Tuesday, June 29, 2021. Audrey was born July 12, 1924 in Detroit, Michigan and was raised by her parents Kathleen and Thomas Neill.
Audrey spent most of her early childhood years at her Grandma Collyer's hotel in North Battleford, Saskatchewan.
At the age of 4, she and her family moved to Vancouver, BC. She stayed and lived and grew her family in and around the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island.
Although unusual at the time, Audrey always worked. Some of her professions included: seamstress, butcher's assistant, dining room manager, and hotel manager. In her later years, she volunteered at Surrey Memorial Hospital.
Audrey was preceded in death by her husband Ernest Flint; daughter Theresa Feduck and son Thomas Flint (Val); mother Kathleen Neill and father Thomas Neill; and granddaughter Lisa Flint.
Audrey is survived by brother Fran Neill (Barb); niece Patricia Keith (John), nephew David Neill (Michelle), granddaughter Shannon Johnston (Braun), granddaughter Robin Feduck, granddaughter Hayley Flint, great-grandson Adam Harris (Jenn), great-granddaughter Rebecca Johnston (Leandro), great-grandson Joshua Johnston and great-great-grandson Lennon Harris.
