Hello Family and Friends,  We think of and remember Clinton Neal in so many ways:  His infectious smile; his 'crazy' driving style; his gift and love of music ... he was my pianist!  His memory lives on in many hearts, including mine.

Facing the setting sun ... Life on earth near done!

Upon the travelled road ... Have I?  Did I ... help bear My brother ... My sister's life load?

Would it matter how well I spoke ... sang ... cajoled ... made glorious harmonious music that touched the very soul?

Have I made a DIFFERENCE?  That mis-guided youth?  Broken brother?  On-the-edge sister ... just in need of a caring ... God's grace reassuring shoulder?

Our Brother ... Pastor Clinton Neal  ... without exception  ... made a distinct DIFFERENCE!

Witness bearers ... His "Sweetie" Marlene ... His accomplished children  ... His devoted siblings  ... His extended family  ... His admiring friends  ... God's people!

Anyone ... To be 'YOUR' very best ... not for fame, but in Jesus's name!

Unselfish service by Example ... Counsel ... Prayer.

Clinton and I were music colleagues in Youth for Christ San Fernando during the early 1970s. He conducted the YFC Choir and I was the accompanist.  I also played for his and Marlene's wedding at the First Church of the Open Bible in 1972. Clinton was a good friend, a very kind and gracious person, and a fine music colleague. May God bless his memory, and may He comfort those whom Clinton has left behind. Roland Dee (Leeds, England). 

Loving and sweet. An absolute gentleman with a gentle soul. Uncle Clinton was the reason my husband Andrew got into “cameras” and photography. 
My last visit with Uncle Clinton he smiled, recognizing who I was and said “beautiful niece.”
Still, in all of his suffering he still took time to ask about our day and how we were enjoying our time in B.C.
My last moments with him in this life was spent in prayer. Forever in our hearts….
Love you dearly… until we meet again…

I met this gentleman when I was twelve years old. As I reflect on his influence on my life I am so grateful that God placed him in my path. 
His patience was outstanding and his demeanor was always exemplary.  His ability as a musician opened many doors of ministry for him and his name was synonymous with Trinidad Youth For Christ in its early years and following. Perhaps he can best be remembered for joyfully playing his accordion.  I thank God for this giant of the faith who was a gift to the Body of Christ. 
My family and I salute the memory and legacy of this great man of God. 




When Uncle Clinton heard that we were engaged to be married, he flew to Toronto to meet and grill my intended. The grilling turned into chatting and friendship solidified. We were so honoured to have Uncle Clinton along with Uncle Hilry officiate our wedding. 

Aunty Marlene, and family, we share in your grief and know that we will be reunited in the God’s Kingdom.

Clinton was a true worshipper and intercessor. I was blessed to know him and Marlene when he led the Tuesday prayer meetings at Richmond Pentecostal Church.

I miss hearing him play the piano and lead worship. I look forward to seeing Him again in the presence of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. We sure would have a great worship party!!!

Condolences to the Neal family from Judy Cumberbatch and family of Barbados.  I met Clinton and family many years ago in Trinidad and they soon became my family in Christ. We have shared many precious times together and I have fond memories of Clinton and Marlene. May He rest in peace and rise in glory.

It was a blessing for Clinton to attend my 70th Surprise Birthday Party in Trinidad.

My sincere condolences to the family, friends  and relatives of Clinton Neal. We grew up in the little village of Cocoyea, San Fernando, Trinidad.
Among my many memories of Clinton is him playing the accordian in church.
May he rest in eternal peace.



Very early in our Overcomers Days (Youth group), Clinton shared this scripture with us. 1Corinthians 10:31, "Whether therefore you eat or drink or whatsoever you do, do all to the glory of God."
Clinton lived by this directive. He was loving, caring , kind and affectionate. He lived a life that glorified God. He will be sorely missed. Sending our love and condolences to Marlene and the rest of the family. 

Clinton has been a dear  friend for many years and more like family.  We grew up together in Cocoyea Village San Fernando Trinidad 
He was a true leader and did so in God’s vineyard.  He truly loved the Lord.
 He was an ardent musician I always remember him playing the Accordion at  church   I have not seen or heard anyone to play that instrument like him
He always wore a smile and had a Godly word of advise or encouragement to  share with everyone 
Clinton will be greatly missed by all. The Neale family has lost a cornerstone however Heaven is now richer with another soul 
My sincere condolences go out to the family, relatives and loved ones. May God’s Peace comfort you all knowing Clinton is in the arms of Jesus as his soul Rest In Peace and will Rise in Glory

Clinton will always be remembered as a loving and caring gentleman.  He demonstrated in his daily life the importance of putting God first.  By his example, he fulfilled his mission to spread the word about Christ and the importance of having a personal relationship with God.  He was gifted in music and it was enjoyable to listen to him play the piano and sing.  I think of him as the "Honey Boy".  He was a gentleman who demonstrated a love for his wife and children.  That love was also extended to family and friends.  May he rest in peace.  He is now with God.  I am honored to celebrate his life.

Uncle Clinton was the heart and soul of the Neale family. He was a great example of a husband and family man, but was also the Neale family's historian and chief photographer. He will be missed.

Deepest condolences to Aunty Marlene, Ray, Reisa and Russell from Barrie, Annisa and Aiden.

I’ll never forget my beloved uncle Clinton. He was the glue that kept the family together. Whenever there was a wedding or reunion he was the one person that was guaranteed to be there. Many memories but one that sticks out;  I remember being in the car with him on Trinidad and it was a narrow residential street in the “country” and there were men playing football in the road and he was driving in excess of 70 mph and every man had to dive left and right as he came through.  

I miss you dearly uncle. Stafford.

Uncle Clinton will be missed. We'll always remember the times he would come to our house and sing or play the piano. To the rest of the family, I wish my condolences.

Clinton and I have been “Brothers” for the past sixty (60) years, and during that time, because of his unwavering support, I have come to understand what the "bond of friendship" actually means. There is no need be verbose about how wonderful he was, as all who knew him, experienced him. Clinton’s last days were difficult, but our Lord never promised us an easy life. He did however promise us, that if we call on him, he will walk with us through our tribulations. 
A few weeks ago I spent several days with my brother Clinton, and during that time, I saw how he experienced his Lord and Saviour walking with him, through the daily love, care and ministering his Sweetie, Marlene provided. Every interaction I witnessed between them was a labour of love on her part. While we mourn Clinton’s passing, lets us uplift Marlene for being Jesus’s representative during his last days.
To all those who knew Clinton I say: If he has ever called you his friend, that is one of the best things that will ever happen to you.
Rest in peace my brother. I will see you on the other side.

My memory of uncle Clinton is summed up in this: 
A sweet, quiet, humble, gentle, sophisticated, genuine, God fearing soul who always made me feel welcomed, whenever I was around him. 
We will miss his smile and warm embraces and remember always how he had his camera ready to capture memories at family events. 
Thank you for all the beautiful memories.

I am so blessed to be counted among the twelve siblings, where the ten older ones impacted my life for achieving greatness in my relationship with God, in my academic excellence and in starting a family of my own. 
Clinton stands out at this time because he taught me the importance of humility and how to love and respect the head of my home. He reminded me to always stand in support of my husband, because there is strength in unity. Clinton practiced what he preached and set the criteria for me to emulate.  Love you brother. You gave me a wonderful sister Marlene and a friend for life…..A beautiful treasure and gem.

I will like to express sincerest and heartfelt condolences on behalf of my family and myself. 
The transition of a Titan such as “Uncle Clinton”, we know, is nothing that you will just get over with, with time, but we encourage you all, to trust God’s plans and take it one day at a time. We here back in Trinidad are holding you all up in prayer.  May Almighty God comfort and keep you all. 
Most likely by now “Uncle Clinton” has already joined the heavenly orchestra and blowing away at that Saxophone, playing on that Accordion, strumming away on that Guitar and playing away on that Vintage Yamaha Electone Organ. He probably already acquired a brand name camera to capture precious moments too and baking bread on Sundays.
May our beloved “Uncle Clinton” Rest In Peace as he reunites with his loved ones in heaven.

Will miss you Uncle Clinton. You were such an inspiration. Quiet voiced and always encouraging. Remember all those family gatherings in Diego Martin which were always fun. Thank you so much for all your words of advice.  Beth and I emulated you always kissing Aunty Marlene after your prayer before a meal :). Thanks so much for being a wonderful example and a wonderful uncle - till we meet again in the sweet by and by.

Few people have worn a goatee with greater distinction than Clinton Neal. I remember the first time I saw uncle Clinton, I was maybe 5 or 6. Anyway, he had pulled up in his station wagon to say hello to our family and I locked on to his goatee. I don't think I'd ever seen a goatee before. Clean. Thick. Shaped perfectly. Cut. Iconic. I couldn't remember anything about the visit beside the Clinton Goatee. That childish "wow moment," lasted about a week. Literally that became the fuel for my very own goatee about 33 years later. A quiet command. Soft-spoken. Thoughtful.  Caring. Immensely Blessed from the first chapter to the final line.  An Iconic man. Iconic Life. 

Clinton lived a life of quiet faithfulness before his church.  His life was a God honouring witness and he was respectfully called Pastor Clinton, as he steadfastly shared the word of God particularly with our Seniors , in our Care Homes and faithfully attended each and every prayer meeting.

Thank you Pastor Clinton for being faithful!



Everyone remembers my friend Clinton Neal as a faithful Pastor at Richmond Pentecostal.  A precious few would recall the happy, Christmas music he shared in therapy to seniors at the Southarm Community Center.  May your soul rest in Peace: Brother Clinton !

My wife and I attended Bible Study at the Clinton’s for many years while we lived in Richmond. Our families shared and celebrated together in church, in our homes and at other memorable gatherings. His understanding of God’s Word was deep and he spared no effort teaching it and blessings us with increased knowledge and understanding. 
Clinton was genuine, authentic and sincere in his ways and relationships, ever ready to sacrifice and give of himself, while expecting nothing in return. We shall always remember him not only for the great teacher and friend he was to our entire family, but also for his kindness and gentility. 
To Marlene and the entire Clinton family, please accept our heartfelt condolences.

Will remember all our wonderful visits to BC 

Those we Love never go away. They walk besides us everyday. Unseen, unheard,  but always near. Still loved, still missed and very dear. ❤️ 

We knew pastor Clinton in RPC senior adult fellowship in 2017 and met him a few times after he retired as a pastor. Navigating the journey during the pandemic was challenging when he was ill.  Clinton was given the wings and is now in God’s arms. Our condolences to Marlene and the family. Clinton will be greatly missed.

Clinton, brother number 4, was a role model par excellence - model son, model husband and parent, skilled musician/ accompanist, conscientious professional and a trusted  friend to many. 

He was  also the most thoughtful of brothers as evidenced by his support to his eldest brother's widow and three young daughters, the youngest of which was only 10 moths old. 

With determination he overcame his speech impediment to excel in leadership, public speaking and as a pastor. 

His life and legacy is an inspiration to us all. 

Rest in peace. You'll be surely missed, my brother.

I did not know him personally, but I know his daughter Reisa. He must have been a good father since she is an amazing person. 

It was great to have a spare dad. I truly miss you Uncle.

This memory is to share our deepest sympathy to Clinton's wife Marlene children, from the McIntosh family of Kingsley street Princes Town. "Only one life 'Twill soon be passed, only what is done for Christ will last". Blessed are they that mourn for they  shall be comforted.

Uncle Clinton always had a quiet, kind strength about him. He was great at so many things, and the love he had for Aunty Marlene and his family was always evident. I know his loss is heartbreaking because he is no longer here with us, but he is present with and resting in, his Lord. He was faithful to his values, and we will be faithful to his memory. Brother Neal was truly a man of steel and a dynamic servant of God he will be missed tremendously.

My best friend  pastor Clinton Neil. We shared numerous Bible studies together. He was there & helped when their was turmoil within my family in prayer and in deeds. He was there to minister when my brother Peter passed away. He was there for me when my brothers and sister came against me attacking me and questioning Peters will... Clinton always was so kind and simply took the side of righteousness.  Clinton was a man of God. We shall miss him. On behalf of all of my family here in Canada  my wife Angela, again our condolences and strength and prayers for Marlene and her loved ones. HIS LOVE ENDURES FOREVER . Blessings.......
