Colin Neil Dickson was born in the family home in Aberdeen, Scotland to Jim and Dorothy Dickson on June 18, 1960 and passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Friday, January 8, 2016 in Vancouver, B.C.
Colin is survived by his loving parents, Jim and Dorothy; daughter Julie; brothers, Keith (Marion), Derek (Janis), & his “little sis” Lynn (Derek) Peterson; Uncle Walter (Sheila) Smith and family, Nova Scotia, Julie’s mother Frances and Colin’s special friend Emily. Also mourning his loss are his many nieces, nephews, & cousins in Vancouver, Scotland, Australia and South Africa. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 15, 2016 @ 11:00 am., at First Memorial-Fraser Heights Chapel, 14835 Fraser Hwy., Surrey, B. C. The family would like to thank the staff at St. Paul’s Hospital ICU unit, for the incredible care and compassion given to Colin in his last days. In lieu of flowers donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
