Diane Kay Rooney

A Celebration of Life will be held on Aug 10 at 1pm at First Memorial Fraser Heights Chapel in Surrey.

Diane was born in Oxford England on Aug 19 1941.

Diane Stafford & Thomas Rooney relocated to Canada in 1965 and married that November, they were married for 48 years until Tom's passing in 2014. Diane was very proud of her career as a nurse working at Royal Columbian Hospital from 1966 until she retired in 2006. Diane enjoyed lunching with friends and family, traveling , going to movies, visiting her friends and family in her homeland England, helping others , but most of all doting on her grandchildren.

Diane is survived by her daughter Lisa and grandson Sheldon, her daughter Lore, son-in-law Jay Chappell and grandchildren Brynn and Ryder, her brothers Keith and Peter Stafford, sister in laws Margaret and Cathy and nieces and nephews James, Emily, Tom and Georgey, as well as close friends Pat, Sue,Jeannie and many many more.

Diane is preceded in death by her husband Tom, her mother Vee and her father Dick.
