Edward Alfred Richard Fordham

May 31 1931 - June 10 2022

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Edward Fordham born May 31, 1931. Edward was a very quiet, gentle and polite person all his life. He passed away peacefully at the Fair Haven Care home in Vancouver after spending 8 years there with dementia and his final days with complications from covid.. He is now in Heaven with his Lord and Savior. Edward is pre-deceased by his wife Shirley of many years. Edward and Shirley spent many happy years travelling to Australia and visiting family. Edward was a member of Grace Community Baptist Church for many years and was an active member of the choir, Edward spent many years at the same church with his good friends and especially Pastor David Mah. Edward always loved to sing, and his happiest days at the care home were participating in lots of sing-songs. Many thanks goes out to Pastor David Mah for all the support and encouragement and visits he gave to Edward. The family wish to give many thanks to Fair Haven care aids for providing a comfortable oasis in his final days. He was treated just like family while residing there. Edward leaves behind two nieces Jackie Upton and Julie Hyde and their respective families.
