Frieda Goltz

She was born September 10, 1925 in Hamburg, Germany and lived in Barrhead, Alberta before relocating to Vancouver in 1987.

Frieda was a devoted and loving mother and a caring friend to all she came to know. She had a natural talent to be a “Jill of all trades” and a Master of Many!! Frieda had a knack for bringing people together around the dinner table... a wonderful hostess; she found the simplicity of nature to be grand and appreciated in its glory and she was a true loving spirit, a gentle sweet soul.

Frieda will forever be remembered by her loving children, Dennis and Elaine; her treasured grandson Tyler Goltz; loving brother, Gus Assenheimer; and those with a special family tie, Teddy Wahl and Dominic Baril. Her memory will be cherished by close family and relatives; her extended family who knew her as “Mama Bear” as well as the numerous friends who were blessed to know her. She was predeceased by her husband, John Goltz and son, Ron Goltz.

In lieu of flowers a donation to the SPCA would be greatly appreciated.
