September 22, 1926 – April 12, 2016.
Passed away peacefully after a long courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Duncan, BC. Predeceased by his parents Charles and Margaret and sister Mary. Survived by loving wife Rena, daughters Randi (Bob), Kim (Mark) and Lori (Tracy), sons Robin (Marlene), Brian (Helen) and Scott (Lydia) and of course Bub, brother Clifford (Edna). Also survived by 16 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and his dog, Joey.
From sea, working on the coastal ships to the Merchant Marines, to land, driving trucks up until his retirement. The open road was his calling as he enjoyed numerous RV’s along the way, eventually settling at The Glen at Maple Falls. Hunting and family get-togethers were his passion and he would always break into song and story telling.
A Celebration of Life will be held May 9, 2016, 11:00 am at the Victoria Drive Community Hall, 2026 43rd Ave, Vancouver, BC. on of First Memorial Funeral Services, Fraser Heights Chapel, Surrey, BC.
