The family sadly announces the peaceful passing of Fraser Knowler at his home. Fraser is survived by his wife of 61 years, Gloria Knowler, sons Doug (Jackie) and Jeff (Cheryl), grandchildren Elyse and Brian, and friends in Winnipeg, Manitoba and Surrey, BC. Fraser was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He served in the RCNVR (1943 – 1945) at sea and was a proud member of Canadian Legion #6, serving on the colour party and as Sargeant of Arms. Fraser was a long time employee of Manitoba and British Columbia Telephone through his working life. A Celebration of Life will be held at Cloverdale Legion #6, 17567 57 Avenue at 11:00 am, Wednesday, April 23, 2014. In lieu of flowers please donate to charity of your choice.
