1925 - 2016
Born in Whitbourne, Newfoundland. Peacefully passed away Nov.19/16. Predeceased by parents Harry & Ella, brothers Hank, Howe, and Don, and 1st wife Peggy. Survived by his loving wife Audrey, son Tom(Karen), daughters Fran (Walt) & Robbi, sisters Marie & Gloria, nieces & nephews, 9 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, stepdaughters Judy & Kathy & their families, and numerous relatives in Newfoundland. Gerald enlisted in the RAF and served overseas as an air gunner in the 2nd World War. Later employed by CP Rail for 42 years as a fireman, then engineer. We wish to thank Rosemary Heights Senior Village for their wonderful loving care & support shown to Gerald during his years as a resident. Also many thanks to the Dept. of Veterans Affairs for their continued support. Memorial Service Sat. Nov. 26@ 11a.m. at Berea Baptist Church, 6062 - 132 Street, Surrey, BC. In lieu of flowers, if desired, donations to the BC Alzheimer's Society are greatly appreciated.
