Harry led a very active life, serving in the Royal Canadian Navy for 25 years, and was a veteran of the Korean War. Upon his retirement from the Navy, Harry and his family moved to B.C. and he joined Corrections Canada, where he served for a further 15 years.
Words from his loving wife Anne:
"Harry and I met in Montreal, he was formally from Nova Scotia. Harry loved fishing and hunting with his Dad and Uncle, he loved being out in nature. He was my best friend and love of 66 years, and he made a lot of friends along the way."
Sadly he will be missed by his wife Anne, his daughter Janet (Wayne) and son David (Adrienne), relatives and friends in B.C., also remaining family in Nova Scotia.
