Ina Isabel Calbick

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of our Mom, Ina. Mom was born in North Sydney, Nova Scotia. She moved to British Columbia in 1966 then subsequently moved to Ontario in 1968. Mom returned to British Columbia in 1991. She was very proud of her successful career as an Office Administrative Manager for a private hospital in Ontario. While she lived on Vancouver Island, Mom volunteered for several organizations. Mom’s beauty shone through her graceful presence and her love for life. She easily befriended people and was known for her lovely sense of humor. Mom lived her life to the fullest.

Mom had 2 daughters Patricia, Faye (Franco) and Heather. She had8 grandchildren Shawn (Gilda deceased), Jason (Fiona), Donald (Natalie), Franco, Sarah (Bernie), Deanna (Jamie), Sharleen and Kelsey. Mom had 9 great grandchildren Amedeo, Bianca, Valentina, Averena, Janessa, Teah, Mylee, Reese and Kaydence. She had many relatives and friends. Mom is singing with the angels and resting peacefully. Miss you with love your family.

Thank you to Elim Long Term Care staff for taking excellent care of Mom during her stay with them. Mom will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Burnaby once arrangements are finalized. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or SPCA.
