Aubrey was born on September 16, 1940 to Alvin Hing and Beryl Hing, née Vancooten, in Georgetown, Guyana, and left us on Wednesday February 19, 2025 at the age of eighty-four.
Aubrey was a Realtor and small business owner who raised two sons with his wife, Pauline Hing. He retired in 1995 and spent his days breeding and raising rare chickens. His caring and generous spirit touched the lives of everyone who knew him. Aubrey was known for his kindness and his dedication to family.
Aubrey is survived by his wife Pauline; his son Mark (Thea); his son Martin (Christine); his grandchildren Brock, Grant, Marin, Edward and Rachel.
One of 12 children, Aubrey was also a devoted brother. He is survived by his siblings Errol, Ossie, Lynette, Jeanette, Carlton, Elizabeth, Jennifer, Angela, Andrew, David and Ruth.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 3, 2025, at 1:30 pm at the Sunnyside Lawn Cemetery, 14850 28 Avenue, Surrey, B.C. followed by a Celebration of Life service at 3:30 pm at North Surrey Christian Assembly, 13044 96 Avenue, Surrey, B.C.
Mark Hing, Laurence Ming, Josh Ming, Nathan Ming, Isaac Ming and Sandy Sutherland will serve as pallbearers.
