Douglas, John Boyd, born Jan. 6, 1922 in Red Deer, Alberta passed away suddenly but peacefully on Aug. 23, 2011 in White Rock, BC. He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 60 years Phyllis; his daughters Libbie (Terry) and Emilie (Byron); his grandchildren Richard, Kate, David, Geoffrey, Heather, Amy, Rebecca, Fraser, Elise. His brother Colin (Doris); many relatives and friends. Boyd was predeceased by his son Kevin in 1988. Boyd enjoyed an engineering career that spanned the globe and served as director on numerous boards. He earned a large collection of trophies as an avid curler. He was a man of great faith and integrity both in business and in his personal life. A private family service will take place following cremation.
