April 18, 1955 – April 30, 2020
The family is heartbroken to announce the sudden passing of Lyle on April 30th 2020. Predeceased by his parents Walter and Dorothy, Sister-in-law Christine. He leaves behind his son Andrew (Samantha) grandchildren Dayton, Logan, daughter Lisa Crook (Matt) grandchildren Nolan,Teagan and ex-wife Shirley. Partner of 16 years Elaine Price, and her family, Sister Linda Dennis (Bill), Brother Bryan, Sister Beverly (John), Niece and Nephews.
Lyle was born in Red Deer Alberta to a military family. He lived in Ontario, but also spent four of his elementary school years on a Canadian Forces Base in Baden- Baden Germany. In his late teens Lyle moved back to Prince George to join his parents where he later married and started to raise a family. In 1984 he moved to Langley where he worked in the flooring industry and eventually started his own company.
With a personality larger than life Lyle lit up a room with his smile. He was hard working, kind, generous and would do anything to help family or friends. He always had an opinion to express and loved a good debate. In later years he enjoyed travelling and spending time at Lake Tyee with Elaine and both their families.
We hope to have a celebration of life at a later date. A Guest book is available at First Memorial Funeral Services Fraser Heights Chapel.
In Lyle’s memory donations to Ronald McDonald House or any Covid relief fund would be appreciated.
