It is with deep sadness we share the passing of Duncan McCallum.
Duncan was born and raised in Edmonton Alberta, but after moving to BC to attend UBC he made it his home. It was while he was at UBC he made the acquaintance of Anne, who later became his wife of 58 years. He loved his family more than anything and dedicated his life to them.
Duncan's career as an Administrator, educator and basketball coach profoundly impacted many. In his retirement he enjoyed wintering in Arizona, playing pickleball, and spending time with his grandchildren whom he loved and adored immeasurably.
Although his loss is deeply felt, his laughter and smile will live on.
Duncan is survived by his wife Anne, his children Renee, Tracy (Dave), Jake (Katie), grandchildren Maryn, Holden, Maddox, Duke, and Beau, and his sister Sheila.
His celebration of life will be held on August 9th, 2024 from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm at the Bayside Rugby Clubhouse, located at 14600 20th Avenue, Surrey, BC.
