I met Melissa at Lucky Clover in 2013, it was a pleasure to work with  such a  talented person! I learnt so much from Melissa ! She loved Halloween & always had a fun filled party at her place! We became good friends & hanged out together! She will be missed dearly, gone too soon. Her memories will be cherished! Forever in our hearts ❤️ Inderjit Chand!

My condolences to all Melissa Friends and Family.  Melissa was a great woman, we met in school for our ECE. We have not been in contact for some time, but I will never forget the friendship we had. All the halloween party she always hosted, she truly loved halloween 🎃.  Will never forget her smile and hospitality.  Hopefully she has touched as many people lives as she did mine. RIP my friend 🧡.

Although I didn’t know Mel personally  i am deeply saddened by the news she was wonderful and great full soul, I cherished every conversation we ever  had or just being involved in group conversation with her ,  Sally  and myself…. My thoughts and prays go out to her husband Dan and her family

I'm absolutely devastated by the passing of Melissa.  She was an amazing friend and it's not going to be the same without her. She had such an infectious laugh - I will never forget all the wonderful times.  I hope she know how much she was loved and will be missed.

I want to take a moment to say how blessed I was to know Mel as a sister figure in my life. She had been such a light for me when I was going through my toughest times and was always there for me through it. She was such a bright, funny, and joyous person to be around and who I have considered a honor to have had such a phenomenal person such as Mel as a best friend. Words will never explain how much your passing hurt and I want to take this time to say my deepest condolences to the family and everyone else who knew Mel. You will always be missed and forever in our hearts.

A bit of a shock to stumble over this obituary as I have fond memories of our time in art class. Melissa's ability to draw Sailor Moon characters was a quiet inspiration in a year that was a bit tough for me.
