Our beautiful and deeply loved Monica Maria Andrus, of Surrey, BC, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.
She will be lovingly remembered by her devoted husband Rob; her six children Antoinette (Mike), Matthew, Andrew (Family), Chris (Niki), Thomas, and Ryan; her cherished grandchildren; her two brothers Bernard and Andre; as well as extended family and friends.
Monica faced many challenges throughout her life, yet no matter what came her way, she always met it with faith, courage, and grace. Her greatest gift was her ability to accept everyone with an open and loving heart. She inspired all those around her to believe in themselves and to see the good in others. Above all, her greatest achievement and source of pride was her family.
Monica’s life was a reflection of her faith and her generous spirit of service. In recognition of her dedication, the Holy Father, Pope John Paul II, paternally imparted his apostolic blessing to Monica Andrus for her generous service to the Good Shepherd Church.
Her kindness, laughter, and love will forever remain in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her.
