Patricia Haldene Rogers

It is with sorrow that we announce the passing of Patricia Haldene Rogers.

At the age of 69 years Pat passed away at the Melville Hospice Home in Surrey, B.C., (you heard me right sis, Surrey not White Rock) on April 27th 2023. Pat was born in Victoria, B.C. on October 17th, 1953 to Hal and Dene Rogers, thus her middle name Haldene, which she always disliked and claimed it was weird.

After the first 14 years of living the gypsy life of an air-force brat, Pat was returned to her birth city of Victoria where she graduated in 1972 from Belmont High.

In the following years, of which 25 were spent as a Constable with the RCMP mainly in Alberta, Pat made many great friends that were drawn to her by her attitude and flashy smile.

Pat was predeceased by both parents, her grandparents and a younger brother, Mark Wallace Rogers, who passed in 1961. She is survived by her two brothers Bruce and Dale, and her closest, best friends Terry Morley and Wendy White.

In her 70-71 yearbook, beside her picture is the comment, Major Interest- spending money. Sis, you lived up to that right to your last days.
