After growing up in Ontario with 8 siblings she joined the Canadian Women’s Army Corp in 1942, and served overseas. She moved to BC after the war and welcomed three children, Daniel, Sharie and Debra Tate. She will be remembered for her generosity, sense of humour and love of family.
She will be deeply missed by her 3 children, 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. A celebration of her life will be held on August 16, 2023, 2 pm, at St Cuthbert’s Church in North Delta.
